Atlas Gym Belfast Membership Terms and Conditions
1. Membership
1.1. Membership to Atlas Gym Belfast (hereinafter referred
to as "the Gym") is subject to these Terms and Conditions, which all
members must accept and agree to comply with.
1.2. Membership is non-transferable and may not be shared.
1.3. Members must be at least 16 years of age. For those under 18, parental or
guardian consent is required.
1.4. By purchasing a membership, you agree to comply with these Terms &
Conditions. We reserve the right to make changes where necessary to these terms
during the duration of your membership.
1.5. You agree to provide us with your most up-to-date personal and contact
information, which will be stored safely and securely in line with our privacy
policy. It is the member's responsibility to update us of any changes.
1.6. You will only be permitted access to the Gym where your membership is
active and remains fully paid, or you have made a reasonable payment plan to
repay missed fees.
1.7. Entry to the Gym is only permitted via the QR code within the ClubRight
smartphone app, which is scanned at the turnstile. Sharing or providing someone
else with access to the Gym using your QR code is strictly prohibited. If you
are found to have done so, a day pass may be charged to your registered card on
our system.
1.8. Member photographs are used for security purposes only. You agree to
upload your own photo or have one taken at the Gym at the time of joining.
1.9. We reserve the right to refuse access, cancel, or terminate a membership
at any time without providing reasons.
1.10. Memberships can only be sold to those aged 18 and over. Those under 18
must have parental or guardian consent.
1.11. We may increase membership fees at any period. In such cases, we will
write to you via email a minimum of 30 days in advance. If you are still within
your contracted period, you may cancel your membership with immediate effect.
1.12. Members who sign these Terms and Conditions are fully responsible for
their own actions within the facility. They must be confident in their ability
to exercise without any supervision.
2. Information on Direct Debits and Payments
2.1. Membership fees are payable monthly, and members can
choose to pay via direct debit or cash payments.
2.2. Payments are collected on a monthly recurring basis. If a member joins
partway through a month, a pro-rata fee may be applied for that month, followed
by regular monthly payments.
2.3. Most direct debits are processed on the first business day of each month.
It is the member's responsibility to ensure sufficient funds are available.
2.4. In the event of a failed payment, the member will be contacted to arrange
an alternative payment method. Failure to resolve the payment within 7 days may
result in suspension of membership. Cash payments must be delivered into our
facility a minimum of 2 days before their membership is due to be renewed.
2.5. Membership fees are subject to change. Members will be given a minimum of
30 days' notice of any changes to fees.
3. Membership Termination
3.1. Members may terminate their membership by providing a
minimum of 30 days' written notice via email or letter.
3.2. No refunds will be given for the month in which the termination notice is
received. The membership will remain active until the end of the notice period.
3.3. The Gym reserves the right to terminate a membership with immediate effect
if a member breach any of these Terms and Conditions, engages in conduct that
is harmful or inappropriate, or fails to pay membership fees.
4. Closure of Facilities
4.1. The Gym reserves the right to close or restrict access
to the facilities for necessary maintenance, repairs, or upgrades, as well as
during public holidays or events.
4.2. In the event of an unplanned closure, the Gym will endeavour to inform
members as soon as possible via email or the membership application.
4.3. No refunds or compensation will be provided for temporary closures or
restricted access to the facilities.
5. Club/Gym Etiquette
5.1. By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, you agree
to always conduct yourself in an appropriate manner and be considerate to other
members.
5.2. Members must adhere to the Gym's rules and regulations at all times. These
include, but are not limited to:
- Wearing appropriate gym attire and footwear.
- Using equipment safely and returning it to its designated place after use.
- Weights are not to be dropped onto the floor.
- Cleaning equipment after use with the provided disinfectant wipes.
- Respecting other members and staff and refraining from disruptive or inappropriate behaviour.
- Not using mobile phones in the workout areas, except for listening to music with headphones.
- Not bringing non-members into the Gym without proper authorization.
- Keeping personal belongings in the lockers provided, not on the gym floor.
- Refraining from photography in the changing and spa areas.
- Asking a member of staff for assistance if unsure how to use a piece of equipment.
- Day passes are available to purchase online.
5.3. Members who are repeatedly asked to return their equipment to its original storage location may have their membership suspended or terminated.
6. Complaints
6.1. Members are encouraged to raise any complaints or
concerns with the Gym's management promptly.
6.2. Complaints can be submitted in writing via email to
atlasgymbelfastltd@outlook.com or through the membership application.
6.3. The Gym will investigate all complaints and aim to resolve them within 14
days.
6.4. If a member is not satisfied with the resolution of their complaint, they
may request a further review by senior management.
Disclaimer
By entering and/or utilizing the Gym facilities, you acknowledge the inherent risks and dangers of physical exercise and declare that you know of no reason, medical or otherwise, why you should not exercise. Any exercise undertaken and equipment used is voluntary and at your own risk. You agree to waive all legal recourse, except in cases of negligence, for damages to yourself or others arising from your participation. You also agree to participate in a short induction session if required.
Atlas Gym Belfast accepts no responsibility for injuries or for loss/damage of personal property. Users should train with at least one other person in case of injury or illness. It is recommended to have medical insurance to cover injury. Always consult your GP before starting physical exercise.
By ticking the box, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the Atlas Gym Belfast Membership Terms and Conditions. Any false statements, omissions, or misrepresentations may result in dismissal.
